Tokyo Marathon 2008 has drawn highly-praised. Many runners are eager to know the actual date of the upcoming event. Some travel agencies even have begun to post the package tour in the past March.
Recently, with the showing of event photos on the web site, Japan Association of Athletics Federation (JAAF) unofficially announce the date for Tokyo Marathon 2009. This well-rounded race will be held on Mar. 22nd, 2009. The related information is still to be announced. It is predicted that the participants can get the general course and registration information in the end of May.
However, this information is yet to be officially confirmed.
It would be better for runners to run in Tokyo in March, avoiding the possible snowy days and extremely cold weather in February. The applicants for the upcoming Tokyo Marathon, widely believed, would much more exceeding than that in 2008.
